Good food at a good price. Noisy like a sports bar

Why would you leaves the pits in olives you put on a pizza? Disappointing all around.

The bartender does a great job! The staff in general is attentive. The food, I wouldn't say it is amazing, but I loved every bite! If you are into sports, I counted 38 screens. If they don't have it on a screen in this place, it simply isn't on. I recommend this establishment, however, if you are expecting a yuppie, upscale sports pub, this isn't the place you want. But if you are into meeting new interesting people and not paying $10 per drink, or $100 tab for a good meal, this is your place. ! Enjoy!

I really don’t understand the 5 star reviews here. I’ve been here twice and both times, someone at the table ended up with food poisoning. It may just be my opinion, but I don’t think that’s a coincidence. ALSO: we were met IMMEDIATELY inside the door with a lady asking “Any of you tobacco users?!” Who wants that shouted at them right when they enter a restaurant? Apparently a 3rd party comes in to sell nicotine products at the bar? And they harass customers about it before they’re even greeted by a hostess? Disgusting. I feel bad for the folks who work here. The service wasn’t terrible. The food and the prices were.

Went for football in evening, food was okay, felt as if waitress was annoyed with us. The answer to everything here is you can do whatever you want.

Disappointed. It's been a while and we were looking forward to great Italian food. Hubby got the Chicago Style Meat Roma pizza. Boring. Hardly any flavor. The sauce is too sweet. I got the combo Manicotti. Again, the sauce is too sweet, we don't like it. Short on cheese, the meat had no flavor and the garlic bread was very well done (i.e., over cooked) and rubbery.

Chicken Tenders were delicious! The sub though was only deli meat! That was a bit of a let down...the waitress was great about exchanging it though!!

Great food, service and atmosphere!

Delicious pizza and other Italian delicacies. This is a place that I love to visit and hang out. They have a great reverse happy hour, daily food and drink specials. I enjoyed their $4 crown royal Tuesdays in which they have various flavors (not peach though, bummer). If you have a family group or a small group of friends, this place is perfect. Also, they have a great amount of televisions so watching your favorite game is a breeze.

Florentines is one of those classic GR spots. It doesn't matter if you're going here to order food, drinks, or just watch the game you can't go wrong. Staff is fun and friendly and very personable. I've been going here ever since I knew about the place 25 years ago. They have great specials happy hour and late evening. There's really nothing on the menu I can't recommend.

Ordered to the springhill Marriott a few days ago and it was great. Marriott suggested them, we called and told them we are at the spring hill Marriott and have outlet room number. Food was fine and we enjoyed enough to order again today. This time the girl on the phone told me they won’t deliver here and we are out of their range. We had food delivered here TWO days ago? The hotel lists them on its “places that deliver here” pamphlet. So the foods fine but they left me feeling confused and embarrassed

Great food and fun with friends

Georgia our server, was amazing. One of the best Ive had the pleasure of encountering. The boursin dip was tomato sauce with 3 small slices of boursin cheese. It tasted great but was not what I expected.

Food and service was unremarkable. Waitress was not very attentive, seemed preoccupied and unconcerned. My France's dinner came to the table barely warm, and the food in general seemed very average. Definitely nothing to rave about. We probably wont go back any time soon.

Calling the food mediocre is higher praise than it deserves. Service isn't very great either. I was VERY disappointed because I really wanted to like the place! I tried twice in hopes that the first visit was a fluke. Unfortunately the second time wasn't any better.

We got there right at closing (didn’t know ) the gentleman that took our order was so sweet and nice! Took our order even tho it was closing time and I’m sure wanted to go home. The food was amazing! I can’t wait to come back as we are newer to the area and with covid going on truly appreciated the service and great food! The gentleman that helped us even brought our food out to us! Wish I caught his name bec his boss needs to know how great he was and we will be back bec of him for sure

What bar doesn't know how to make a basic Irish coffee?????

It was my first time ever visiting this establishment. I was greeted by one of the cooks and a server. The cook gave me the history of the establishment and talked with me about the menu. All 8 of my friends that showed up to help me celebrate were welcomed greeted and afforded an opportunity to order a meal. This place was clean, spacious and open late during the early part of the week. The food was delicious and the atmosphere welcoming... I’ll be going back often.

I've been going here with my family for years. Solid Italian food and good service. Definitely a place you'll want to check out in the GR area at least once.

My order was messed up, wait time was quite a bit longer than told. Steaks were overcooked and dry and my salads were completely missing from my bags. Even the sauces for my order were completely missing. Multiple other issues with food as well. Too far to drive back and complain so I just won't ever go back there again.

Great service from Kim at the bar. The buffet was good though some of the pizza was dried out from sitting under the heat lamps for too long.

The Chicken Marsala was amazing! Done perfectly. Had a small Greek salad and fresh steamed broccoli.

Just fed a party of 80 swim team family in an hour and a half with excellent food and service. They ROCK! Thank you Chris and your amazing staff.

Service is great. I had the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. Not what I expected from an Italian restaurant. Chicken was processed chunks. I would not order it again. My friend had the spaghetti with meat balls. She enjoyed her meal. A little over priced.

We usually love this place and we still do but I have to say we were disappointed. The food was fine, as usual. We have never been on a Friday night so we didn't know what to expect. Very busy. We sat way in the back in the tall booths. I didn't much care for the tall booth. Only one place to put your feet on a bar under the table. I didn't want to kick the person across from me so I let my feet hang. Uncomfortable. So the seating was just another issue on top of the service. I could have easily overlooked the booth and just never sat back there again. Problem solved. But the wait staff was lacking. We had to ask for things multiple times. They actually forgot to bring a meal to one of our party! The young lady was less than attentive. And no less tha three different people at our table passing out food to the wrong person. We will not be back on a Friday night and if we get service like that again we will never be back. Thanks for reading.

Thumbs up!! We ordered over 50$ of food tonight and every single thing was correct, hot,and awesome. Even all the extra sauces I wanted. First time during this quarantine that we got our order right from somewhere. You are the bomb!! Thank you!!

This place is hit or miss. Sometimes the service is really good, sometimes not. The food is okay. However, I keep coming back because they have great specials and I like the atmosphere; very friendly patrons and many big screen TVs.

Florentine's is by far the best pizza in Kentwood. The sauce is amazing.

My family and I have been reserving their dining room space for rehearsal dinners, birthday parties, and other celebration over the past 8 years or so. Florentine has amazing food, and incredible service. Only one waiter for the 20+ group of us, and they have always been personable and effecient. My family has never had a complaint in these 8 years.

Great staff. Cool building. Waitress was Katrina. Very friendly. Awesome buffet. Can't beat the price.
